Routing Information Protocol (rip) Charter
The RIP Working Group was formed from the RIP Version 2 Working Group, which was originally chartered to create the RIP-2 standard. Since several other RIP-related efforts are also occuring within the IETF, it was decided to create a single working group to handle them all.

Open Shortest Path First IGP (ospf) Charter
The OSPF Working develops and documents extensions and bug fixes to the OSPF protocol, as well as documenting OSPF usage scenarios. The specific protocol work items area listed in the Goals and Milestones section below. Additional work items will require rechartering.
Multicast Extensions to OSPF (mospf) Charter
This working group will extend the OSPF routing protocol so that it will be able to efficiently route IP multicast packets. This will produce a new (multicast) version of the OSPF protocol, which will be as compatible as possible with the present version (packet formats and most of the algorithms will hopefully remain unaltered).
OSI IS-IS Intra-domain Routing Protocol
This RFC is a republication of ISO DP 10589 as a service to the Internet community. This is not an Internet standard. Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
