What is... and Who are SunSteam Search?

The idea of creating 'SunSteam Search' was conceived late-summer 1999, by two eager internet enthusiasts named Lars Anundskaas and Sjur Mathisen. The idea was to create a service for the great mass, something useful everyone could take advantage of.

The Development:

After going online in October 1999, the site has been through great changes, taking small steps forward every month. The look and feel of the site today, is the sixth in a row of different designs. Our website database, which is the real backbone of the site, has been built from scratch and today contains tens of thousand of websites.

Today:

At this point, we receive several thousand page views each day, having spent hardly any of our financial resources on marketing. We have launched different submission services ranging from a one year standard submission, to the more expencive premium, high profile, lifetime-submission. We guarantee to have any site reviewed and listed within 24 hours of payment.

SunSteam Search also has several sub-sections. Here you can translate text or WebPages, or you can search for MP3's or available domains.
Our Classified ads system has a lot of possibilities for both free and pay services.

The Future:

"No one knows what the future may bring", but we know we'll work hard to constantly improve our services, and to increase our sales and traffic. Since we already are making a profit, we see great opportunities the coming year. Our main goal at this time: expanding and improving services, and to tell the whole world about us!
